Franconia-Springfield is a Metro station on the Blue Line. It is also the site of a VRE station on the Fredericksburg line. The station is located Springfield in Fairfax County, VA, about 12 miles from Washington DC. Near I-95 (exit 169A) just outside of I-495 (the Capital Beltway), the station is the western terminus of the Blue Line. The station is also serviced by "Rush Plus" Yellow Line trains.
