Silver Spring is a Metro station located in Silver Spring, Montgomery County, Maryland. The station is serviced by the eastern branch of the Red Line. A MARC station is also located at the station, providing access to Maryland's commuter train system. The station is the first in Maryland on the line's eastern branch for northeast bound trains. The station is located just outside of Washington DC.
