L'Enfant Plaza is a Metro station in Southwest Washington DC in the Southwest neighborhood. It is serviced by 4 of Metro's 5 lines, the Orange Line, Silver Line, Blue Line, Green Line and Yellow Line. As such, it is a major transfer point within the system. It is the last station in DC for southbound Yellow Line trains before the line enters Virginia.

The station is located about 3 blocks south of the National Mall, and is close to several of the Mall's attractions, including the National Air and Space Museum, the National Museum of the American Indian, and the Hirshhorn Museum and Sculpture Garden. It is also close to the South West Waterfront's well known fish market, and is one of the closest stations to the Jefferson Memorial, and the east side of the Tidal Basin.

The station is also a major MetroBus hub. The 5A line, providing service to Dulles International Airport, stops near the D street station entrance.
