The Foggy Bottom Metro station is located in Northwest DC in the Foggy Bottom neighborhood, and is serviced by the Orange Line, Silver Line, and Blue Line. It is the first station for eastbound trains on both lines.

The station is located on the campus of George Washington University. It is about 0.7 miles north of the Lincoln Memorial, and is the closest station to many of the easternmost attractions on the National Mall, as well as the Kennedy Center. A free shuttle is available near the station entrance on 23rd St NW with service to the Kennedy Center.
