The Farragut West Metro station is located in Northwest Washington DC's downtown neighborhood, and is on the Orange Line, Silver Line, and Blue Line. Located in what's considered downtown DC, it is about three blocks from the White House, and is about 0.7 miles north of the National Mall's National World War II Memorial.

While not connected underground, riders may walk to the nearby Farragut North Station (Red Line) within 30 minutes for no additional charge.
